Here is an off-the-cuff Beastie mix. You should be able to press “random” and walk away.

MCA

I was born in March, 1981. Even though I’m from the South, I grew up in the midwest. I don’t remember a time where music wasn’t a huge part of my life…and those growing years were no exception.

I can’t remember a time without Beastie Boys; most of all my favorite Bassist/Rapper, MCA (Adam Yauch). I learned his lines. I know his raps. He was easily the most inspiring to me among the three. I’m certainly not downgrading his friends/band mates…because Beasties as a whole changed my life.

Some of the first lines I ever learned on Bass as a 15 year old kid, locked in my room with my first shitty four string, were Beastie Boys bass riffs. I’ll never forget.

GO USA!

I am terribly saddened by the end of the US Space Shuttle Program. For the first time in 30 years, we’re without space exploration. Our education will suffer. Our advancement will suffer. Dark, dark, dark.
